Subject- Anatomy of the Unstoppable Soldier (Slammer Variety) John D Rockefeller came into my office with stacks of money in which he stated were from both the Union and Confederate governments! He requested that i was to hurry up on the design of the Unstoppable Soldiers. After showing John the prototype of my Slammer variant of the soldiers, he ran out and cried witchcraft! That oaf is so caught up on religion, he doesn't even know that the Unstoppable Soldiers are as simple as a clockwork toy soldier! The coal furnace on the front of the machine serves as a unending pushing force, which turns the massive gear upon the back of the soldier. The gear spins, which causes the set of gears and rods within the soldier to move, twist and turn. Within the head of my design, lies a simple rock, and certain holes. The rock emits some form of electro-magnetic wave that passes through human bodies, being close enough to one makes you feel shivery and jittery. This rock reacts to metal and flesh, causing it to vibrate, and shake quite violently. along the side of the rock are certain switches and buttons, each connects to the arms, legs and overall movement of the machine. The design allows the rock to emit the EM waves to be concentrated through the "eye holes" which allows a certain field of vision. if the soldier is to the left of the metal source,it will turn to the left and move forward. if the soldier is directly in front of the metal/flesh source, it moves towards the source. when it is within range, the rock hits a switch, causing the arms to raise, then to drop, killing the target in 15% of the cases. One thing that i have realized is that the machine will have a better "understanding" of the target if there is a smaller concentration point. the more space the forces have to go through, the weaker it is, which is why the Shooter variant is to have only but one "eye hole". The simple design is to make the machine attack only men that have enough metal on them to be armed, in this case, enough metal to form one simple Musket ball. |

Subject- Anatomy of the Unstoppable Soldier (Shooter Variant) More tests have been ran with the Slammer Variant. Three of them involved gathering groups of Confederate soldiers, 3 in each group, and putting them in a room with one Slammer. only one of those three groups were crushed, and upon the survival of the third group, i have learned this- The machines are not unstoppable. Although the shells of the machine are technically bullet proof, they become dented quite easily, and can lodge up the clockwork system, shutting down the entire system. The Confederate president is unhappy by the pure fact of survival, and has asked me to improve the systems, In which i have upgraded the Shooter variants. Instead of two "eye holes" the shooters have but one, which allows the shooters to have a much greater range of sight. The shooters are equip with my Experimental Gearlock rifle, and have a much more complex clockwork system. When the metal target is detected, switches are hit and the machine aligns itself with the target. the rifle is raised, and the machine shoots straight ahead. Tests have been ran with this new variant, and only 1 out of 3 groups have survived |

Subject- Gearlock Rifle Experiments with the Shooter variant have shown that Human Soldiers can survive easily if the Unstoppable Soldiers are equip with only a mere Musket. Another clunky design problem is the fact that there is not enough room for the set of clockwork that will have the Shooter reload its musket. To solve this problem, i have looked to the Henry Rifle for inspiration. Upon modifying the rifle, i have allowed it to serve Gear shaped Ammunition Magazines. It is very simple. The shot is fired, the user will cock the rifle, rotating the gear to its next shot. Whence all shots are fired, the user simply replaces the gear. With this less complex system, only 2 sets of clockwork is needed to complete the Shooter. The tests that have been ran with the Gearlock Rifle instead of a plain Springfield have shown to be much more successful. |

Proff. {REDACTED} log #10 Subject- Unstoppable Soldier (Fortress Variant) Abraham Lincoln is planning to make one final push to crush the Confederates, while the Confederates are paying mountains of money to push back Union forces. To do this, you would a soldier truly unstoppable, a Mobile Fortress. My creation, is what truly is an Unstoppable Soldier, one that hulks of mass and power. With a much thicker shell, the Fortress Variant is equip with two Gatling Guns for each arm, built to crush an entire battalion within a matter of seconds. To support this hulking mass, it requires wheels of many types, and three sets of clockwork, all set exactly the same, but built up to support the massive amount of weight. a massive coal oven is needed, followed by three different gears. Upon learning the fact that the rocks within the soldiers do not attract, but repel, i have learnt that the soldiers do not attack each other. Due to the fact that neither side was willing to apply a single battalion to a test, i have removed the rocks from shooters and placed them against the Fortress. The Fortress took them all down within a total of 30 seconds. Although the results against subjects that will fight back may be doubled, if not tripled, there is very little chance of survival. There is only one winner of this war, and that is the rich. With success in his mind, Proff {REDACTED} planned for the factories to be kept in works forever, even after mankind expired.
Within this, he designed the Foremen, Robots with a mind of their own. With a human brain hooked up to multiple sections, to track and use every impulse, the Foremen could have the knowlege on how to fix anything in the factory The reason a living mind was required is that a clockwork mechanism cannot keep every single nut and bolt in the factory in a pre determined path, so {REDACTED} used human brains to keep that knowlege. After reanimating the brains with lightning, and keeping them alive by continuosly pumping oxygen and other nutrients into it, he attached the brains to the Foremen design. Due to the recent activation of the brain, baby steps had to be taken to build up the reanimated brain. to make sure the Foremen did not make mistakes, regulations were made, so if the foremen stopped production at a wrong times, or refused to work, or made a mistake, small needels were pressed against the brain, as a torture device to slowly scrape the brain to get the foremen to work. Through this, the foremen lost all sense of morality and humanity When the orders to halt production of the machines were delivered, the Foremen resisted their master, and continue to have created robots to get revenge. TRANSPORTATION In the control room of the Factory (Top floor) are switches, levers, knobs, all hooked up to certian parts of the factory to repair parts of the machinery, the Foremen are attached to 3 sets of rails, and they will slide along these pathways to every section of the factory that would need repairs. Although they had freedom of thought, they were restricted to transportation through the rails they were set on. Then arms and such of the Foremen are set to react to brain impulses, similar to the human brain |

Subject- Design flaws and more orders "The design of the Unstoppable Soldier is more flawed then I thought. Although the Iron and Steel that builds the soldier is bulletproof, the metal can be easily dented with enough shots, which log up the gear system and can shut down the system entirely" Upon further investigation, I have found another flaw within the design. For the machine to have "sight" it must have "eye holes" to see. These holes expose the Element within the head, leaving it open to gunfire. The element itself breaks like glass, and along with the vibrations, if multiple peices of the element bounce around, the system will open and close gear pathways faster than the actions can be carried out, resulting in a series of movement not subjected to the design. By the extremely likely chance that all pathways open at once, the machine will tear itself apart, resulting in an internal explosion Although the Unstoppable Soldiers have yet to be activated and deployed within the field of battle, the positive testing results have caused orders of the machines and their self sustaning factories to be built not only in the americas, but within Europe as well. a total of 100 supply ships, carrying ten thousand Slammers, ten thousand Shooters ten thousand Rollers and one thousand fortress varients, have been sent out. Due to the weight and size of these orders, the machines will not be ready to be deployed until 1916. |
The robots design is simple.
It has a coal furnace, which heats up steam to turn the massive gear. The gear then turns multiple other gears within the machine, which allows it to move. Every movement that the robot will ever be able to possibly make depend on which path of gears are unlocked. The element within the head can vibrate if exposed to both flesh and metal. The vibrating rock can hit certain switches and buttons within the head, which unlock/lock gear pathways. These robots have been worked on for 50 years (They were first designed in 1813) and have been nearly perfected in movement. |
